Excels at catching lobs over top of the defense and converting. Scores a lot on putbacks and dump-offs but has flashed a developing back-to-the-basket game, capable of drop-stepping to the middle to get to a hook shot. Gaither is a dominant double-double machine in the GIAA.

Gaither dominated the game inside, scoring on multiple high-low looks. Taliah did more than just use her size to score on dump offs. She showcased some developing post moves, liking to score over her left should with hooks. When fouled, Gaither was nearly automatic at the line shooting 6-7. Taliah finished with 28 points, 14 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal and 5 blocks in Lakeview Academy’s opening round 63-52 win over Cherokee Bluff.
