Gayles was an absolute ball hawk. I had an eye on the first half of one of her games and I counted 4 steals. It seemed like every time a ball hit the ground, there was Tamia Gayles. Even if she didn’t get the steal, she was still very disruptive.

Gayles was a head turner for me at The Expo. A little birdy told me to “just watch her, you’ll see”. I did indeed see. She hit the first 3 triples I saw her take, and none of them even grazed the rim.
