About Taya
Expert Analysis
Mike Benson | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
I like the way Taya plays hoops. She is an athletic point guard with good height and length. She plays each game at a high level and works hard to give her team a chance to win. She handles the rock well and is often tasked with defending the opposing team’s best player. I like her ability to drive and draw secondary defenders before kicking to open teammates for threes. Taya’s best part of her game is her ability to get to the basket and finish at the rim. She is a strong guard who can finish through contact and get to the free-throw line. She has All-Region potential in the future.
