Ray has made up for lost time this season, by leading Midway to a 21-3 mark and now is one win from the Class B-2 State Tournament. She missed her junior season due to an ACL injury, but her performances this year have not only led to wins but also over 1,000 points for her career. It helps that she was a prolific scorer as a sophomore, going for over 30 points multiple that season. She’s kept scoring the rock this year, while also stuffing the stat sheet with steals, assists and rebounds. Now, she’ll look to punch her ticket to the State Tournament this weekend, which would be Midway’s first trip since 1980.
