Barnes is “long and athletic” which I call the base and observing her play all 5 positions in high school, as well as club ball has been something to see. She does things effortlessly and efficiently and her midrange shooting gives defenders problems because she also attacks from multiple angles to finish. She rebounded, on both ends, even went coast to coast a few times to score or dish

Bares is “long and athletic” which is THE BASE because not only do I love evaluating that profile, so do COUNTLESS next level coaches which fits because she has countless offers on the table. I’m digging her being able to take over games, from either end because she rebounds, on both ends and her interior defense as well as timing to block, alter and (or) deflect shots is special, so is her scoring around then basket, putbacks included, off the dribble or from mid to long-long range

Barnes is “long and athletic” which will always be the base yet she does so many things instinctively that many will miss. She reacts very well on defense, she does a good job defending in and outside the paint, her timing to score around the basket, putbacks included, is very nice but it also looks good when she’s blocking shots. Her pull-up jumper is sweet, she elevates over defenders, forget about blocking it yet she also plays the passing lane

Barnes is one of the most underrated players in Texas, all classes and she’s starting to realize just how good she is. In the blink of an eye, she can take over games and since she’s not only long and athletic, but stands above 6’0, which is the magic number, she’s hard to contain and here’s why. She can take the defender however she wants off the dribble and finish, with either hand, after contact. Her mid to long-range game is solid, so is her defense but she rebounds and plays the passing lane
