Teagan took a big step forward during her senior season. She took on even more of a leadership role and more of a scoring role. She now has the ability to put the ball on the floor more consistently as opposed to being just a spot up shooter. Her passing has also improved very nicely.

The senior guard set the tone for her squad from the onset. Her confidence was sky-high and it showed in her play. She was hitting threes, on the boards and forcing the tempo. On defense, she was actively in the passing lanes causing problems. She finished with 13 points, 10 rebounds, and 3 steals.

As evidenced by her effort Teegan came to play. She was hitting shots from three as well as getting to the basket and finishing through contact. Martin was just as tough on the defensive end as well as a rebounder.

Martin is the undoubted leader of the Eagles this season. Her scoring should skyrocket especially if her performance of the summer is any indication. As of late she’s been shooting the ball at a high clip, and she will get plenty of opportunities to shoot it.

Martin has been playing with more confidence as of late on the club scene. I expect her to make a big leap in production following the loss of the top two scorers from last season. She has been showing that her perimeter game is ready to go up a notch.
