I have had the pleasure of watching Tegan grow as a player the past three seasons at Sarasota high school. Over that time she has displayed high energy, a team first attitude and entangles any coach would want in their program. Hoffman has a much larger role for the Sailors this year with the graduation of many starters from last season, but it’s a challenge the junior has welcomed. She runs the floor well and has a great connection with her teammates in transition. Hoffman is most comfortable on the baseline where she has a knack for getting to the rim, and a very nice jumper. I am excited to see what she does with her increased opportunities.
