Jalbert is the anchor for the Northern Cass Jaguars. She is a player who has had a great summer and has improved her game. She is a powerful athlete who has an exceptionally strong base. She can bully her opponent by the basket and get to the free-throw line. She is only 5’9 but can easily defend bigger opponents due to her impressive strength. I think Tess has a great opportunity to be an All-Region player this season.

Tess’s AAU coach describes her as one of the toughest and hardest working players she has been around. I agree with Coach Dietz’s assessment. Tess is super tough and isn’t afraid of anyone. She battles with the bigs and is able to hold her own despite being undersized for a 4. You can tell Tess is a great competitor.

Tess fits in really nice with Northern Cass’s offense because of her ability to knock down drive and kick three-pointers. She is a steady player and makes good decisions. She is really good at reading drives and knowing when to back cut. She is a solid defender and keps the ball in front of her as well.
