She had a stellar showing against nationally ranked juggernaut Morris Catholic. Tess did a phenomenal job absorbing contact in the low post & finishing at a high level; impressive footwork & a soft touch to finish at the rim. She looked quicker & stronger than in previous games. Very fluid movement getting up & down the court, at times leading the way in transition. She was fearless, never intimidated by the moment or the opponent. A big who can dominate in the post but also step out & confidently take/knock down mid-range shots, run the floor hard & protect the rim… whewww watch out! I was super impressed with her all-around game.

Not a lot of players are comfortable with their back to the basket, but Tessa looks right at home on the block for the NJ Shoreshots 2025 HGSL. When she gets the ball she makes quick decisions, uses her strength to get where she wants and her length to finish. She has great court awareness which allows her to make quick passes to open teammates for easy buckets. She gets out quick and fills lanes in transition. Defensively, her length is an asset getting in passing lanes and blocking shots. She is a strong rebounder as evidenced by her 6+rpg in her sophomore year for loaded Red Bank Catholic squad. I see a lot of double doubles coming in her junior year.

Tessa showed off her versatility and proved she is a force on the hardwood, most notably dropping 18 points in the second half vs the Lady Rivals! At 5’11”, she has the size and physicality to be effective banging in the post, the agility to float up and down the court like a guard and the highly efficient knock-down shooting of a wing. Her ability to read the defense and pass out of the post was on full display, creating scoring chances for open shooters spread across the floor and on the perimeter. Her high octane, electric energy and workhorse mentality elevates her game with intangibles difficult to replicate. Tessa’s D1 offer are piling up quickly and after watching her full bag of tricks this weekend, it’s easy to see why. Quite simply put, Tessa is a program-changer!
