Te’Yala is a game wrecker. At 6’3″ she can hurt you in so many ways and that starts with the dirty work she loves to do for Team Sharp. Her wingspan and athleticism allow her to defend the ball fiercely on the perimeter and inside. She gets her hands on so many balls and loves to get out in transition. She contests every shot she is in the vicinity of and makes it difficult for anyone to score over her. Te’Yala has a great vertical leap, and she combines that with exceptional effort to clean up the glass. On the offensive end she turns those rebounds into points as she knows how to get her balance and power up for putbacks. She does an exceptional job spacing the floor allowing her teammates to get downhill and when they get in the lane she dives hard looking for the ball to finish the play. She can shoot it too averaging 1+ 3-pointers per game in her junior year at Ewing HS where she is already over 1,000 points and 500 rebounds in 3 years.
