De La Cerna moved to West Jordan last season and she is a player that has strength on the ball and play making skills. She can be physical as she creates contact when she powers through to the hoop. Excited to see how her decision making and shooting is coming along here in July.

De La Cerna made a recent move to West Jordan where she will be able to step in and use her experience to take over that role as lead guard. She has a very chill pace to her game and she uses that to quickly change gears. She is stronger than you think and she has all the right moves to get open in the paint. She shoots it well and she will likely get a lot of open looks on this team and if she can really hit those catch and shoot three’s she will be a big time imapct player.

De La Cerna was playing with Evolve Hoops which seems to be a mixture of players from West Jordan High School and others but she was solid. She does have a pace to her game, loves going to her spin move and she can finish. You can see that she has increased her speed already soce high school has ended. look for her to be solid this Spring/Summer.

Although the 2027 Rankings have not been released she is climbing up the ranks on the back end. Her scoring ability and skills have been very evident over at East High School. Could be the start of a really special player out there.
