While last season was a down year for the varsity 5A White Knoll assembling, the junior varsity Timberwolves fared a bit better as evidenced by their 12-10 record. Gardner was the featured name for that junior varsity assembling as she would average 11.3 points, 2.3 assists and two steals per contest. Those are numbers that ought to make her more than worthy of a varsity callup especially considering the varsity team only won four games last season – two of which were at the expense of 4A Aiken. Gardner will look to return winning vibes to Red Bank as her career continues to blossom.
