Hudson made my Tip Sheet from the PGH Showcase “First Look-Lasting Impressions,” and as a late addition at the event, she showed what I love seeing players do, and that’s “seize the opportunity.” see evaluation here @MJBCOACHDOUGLAS had already seen her, yet her explosiveness and finishing off-balance after contact, and so many #THROWBACK things you can’t teach like diving on the floor for loose balls, kept me smiling

Hudson blew me away as she blew by defenders in the set as well as in transition. Her first step just made things happen because she’s a long and athletic guard with nice body control, which helped her finish acrobatically at times. She saw the floor well across the board, even dove on the floor for loose balls, and her “on the ball” pressure was smothering at times

Trinity is a smooth, high-IQ prospect with an impressive temperament. She never gets too high or too low, maintaining a “business-like” composure regardless of the game’s pressure. What stands out most is her elite anticipation; she has an innate feel for the game, consistently forcing steals and winning the battle for 50/50 balls. While she is highly effective in the post—scoring and securing boards on both ends, her ability to grab a rebound and go coast-to-coast is what truly sets her apart. Watching a post player navigate the floor to finish at the rim or find an open teammate in transition is remarkable for this age group. Trinity has tremendous upside and will compete and excel at the high school and potentially collegiate levels.
