Expert Analysis
Devin Record | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Trinity is a quick guard who had to handle a lot of offensive work with her being a top player. She attacks well with both hands, absorbing contact in the paint well and being able to get to the free throw line for easy points. Her deep shot was steady last season but has been even more impressive this season, letting it fly with confidence and accuracy.

Wheeler is a player whose name kind of fits her style of play. She’s a quick, shifty player with the ball who looks to attack every time she touches it. She wants to get inside and attack gaps in the defense but also has the stroke to punish you from outside. She has great change of direction and can play quick or work her defender back and forth to find space.

Trinity scored 27 points for Wapato in a win over Othello. It’s not surprising as she was a 1st team all league player last season and MVP of the All State game in Spokane this summer. Lots of buckets to be had with the loss of KK Bass.

#72– A first team All league pick and 1A all state tournament team selection. She was the second leading scorer and was big in Wapato’s 3rd place finish in class 1A. She was also named MVP in the East West All State Basketball Classic game in Spokane this summer. KK Bass is gone to Western WA University, which will give Wheeler a bigger role in the 2024 season as a scoring guard. rn
