Possibly the most athletic player in the camp last week. The skill work she has been putting in has transformed her from a power forward the past to season to playing a big guard this week. Aggressive physical driver off the wing was very effective in Glenpool offense. Finished the drive off with a spin move back to the rim or nice jump hook going off two feet in front of the rim. Excellent jumper with great height that grabbed any and all rebounds near her, I am guessing comes from her volleyball back ground. Sometimes the best offense was to shoot the ball and let her go get the putback.
A highly ranked athletic 2026 that is fun to watch as she plays with just that smoothness about her game. When you have a player like that and several talented players around her you will win many games

McKennie is a long armed forward prospect who looks like she plays on a trampoline. She often is the first off the floor for rebounds that she snatches away by high pointing the ball. That carries over to her timing and reading the game as a shot blocker. She’s a defensive specialist who competes and produces like a taller forward. Was quieter offensively in the second half of the game watched, but did knock down a corner three with confidence.

A power forward that is a fierce rebounder on the offensive end. An athletic forward that will get out and fill the lanes on a fast break looking for the layup. High percentage finisher in the paint with a basket of moves to score. Over the past season I have seen her mid range game and outside shot develop.
On defense she is a rim protector. Crazy hops, great timing, long arms and great rotation allows to protect the rim with her shot blocking abilities . Long and athletic that can play 2-4 spot makes her a player to watch.

Game Watched: Locust Grove, March 7th
An athletic two way impact forward, McKennie makes plays on the defensive end thanks to good quickness for her size and long arms. Not only did she protect the rim, she was willing to get on the floor for loose balls and ran the floor hard all game. Her running the floor efforts also rewarded her with transition points. But the face up game she showed when attacking out of the high post showed that she’s more just a hustler on the court. With quick off her feet movements as a rebounder, there’s lots to like about this promising sophomore.
