News of Vaeda’s potential had come our way several months ago, complete with descriptions of her game from those in the know as well as highlight video to back it up. This spring we finally got to see her live. Vaeda made a strong impression on our scout Ally McGinnis, who said Davidson exceeded expectations. “She’s versatile, skilled, and unshakably composed,” Ally wrote. “Offensively, she can initiate from the perimeter or go to work on the block, using her strength and footwork to create mismatches. She’s explosive off the dribble, defends with energy, and plays with maturity well beyond her years.”
