The Madison native exploded to open her senior season in Madison’s “East Side Rivalry” with La Follette, where she pushed 50 points in a losing effort. Her ability to create off the dribble catches the eye when you see her play, and she has enough creativity in her game to attack off the dribble and finish around size at the basket. As of writing this article, Richardson has not announced her playing future at the next level.

Valerie’s play on Sunday left me speechless. She was my standout player of the showcase! Every move she made was impressive. She topped the last move she did every time she touched the ball. I can’t make out every note I took by her name because she there were so many. Her defense, shot fakes, perfect passes, jump shots, 3s were just some of the moves she did to wow the crowd.
