Listed at 5’10 but seems taller when you watch her play. A small forward that can stroke the outside shot but has the footwork to post up as well. I have seen Vanessa play for awhile and she has always been a excellent 3 point shooter. I think her downhill game has really improved which makes her a tougher match up now.
Vanessa is a tall guard that can play the shooter or small forward at the next level. The smoothness she plays with is fun to watch. I am not sure where her recruiting status but at 5’11 and long with those skills I am sure interest and offers will be coming. Deferential a player to watch this upcoming schools season

Game Watched: Team Griffin Aeschleman vs JYD 2025
A wing with good size, Coleman opened the game spot up from the perimeter as a good shooter. As the game progressed, she became more active around the basket as a rebounder, especially on the offensive end with putbacks. Around the basket, she finished strongly and with soft touch. Looking forward to seeing more of the promising prospect after an injury derailed her junior campaign.

Vanessa is a player who has made some incredible improvements in her game over the years. She moves really well off the ball and does a good job of working for her teammates within the offense. She is almost positionless in that she uses her strong, 5’10” frame to battle people down low and moves extremely well off the ball. She is a dedicated defender and comes up with her share of steals, mostly through intelligent plays on the defensive end. Coleman had a big summer and I look for her to have an even bigger high school season come December!

Has a strong presence in the paint, off the dribble she is able to use her body to attack and finish, and is able to rebound against bigger players, finishes really well at the basket, able to set screens on the ball and pop for the outside shot, Finished the game with 14 points.
