Expert Analysis
Evan Bell | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Xandaija is a versatile forward prospect who stood out multiple times during the travel season with West Michigan Drive . She’s a determined rebounder who finishes through contact and steps outside to hit threes. Xandaija protects the rim and would be a great addition to The Expo.

Xandaija was a difference maker for West Michigan Drive Crosby the past few months, showing next-level qualities that earned a higher ranking. Xandaija double-dipped at LBI Jamfest, turning in consecutive performances that gained recognition from both of our scouts. Xandaija’s athleticism, power, and versatility were a matchup problem for opposing forwards. She stepped outside to hit three-pointers, pursued many offensive rebounds, and finished with strength around the basket. Xandaija is a fierce shot blocker, drives hard downhill, and will be a prospect to pay attention to this winter at Waverly.

Xandaija of West Michigan Drive made a big impression on Day 2 of the LBI Jamfest with her physical presence and versatility. She’s a powerful player who can score both in the paint and on the perimeter, making her a tough matchup. Xandaija battled relentlessly on the boards, especially on the offensive end, where she grabbed several second-chance opportunities and turned them into points with strong finishes. Her effort around the rim and ability to impact the game inside and out stood out all day.

Xandaija was a forward who flashed her next-level potential with West Michigan Drive MWG 17U at Jamfest on Saturday. She finished with power in the paint off two feet and muscled her way into position to score an offensive rebound put-back. Xandaija has the confidence to shoot outside and drilled a corner 3. She kicked the ball out to open teammates when her drive wasn’t there and made an emphatic block in the paint.

Xandaija is a strong player who utilizes her strength in the paint on both ends of the floor. She consistently secures rebounds and exhibits excellent footwork around the rim, allowing her to finish with either hand. I anticipate a standout junior season for Scott.

Scott is definitely a player that scouts and coaches should keep an eye on moving forward. She’s powerful on the glass and will often be a points and rebounds double-double threat. Scott picks up second chance points by rebounding high and keeping it there on the put back attempt.

Waverly had a really nice team this past season and Scott was a very nice piece of it. She used her freshman season to show a diverse and well rounded game. It really looked like she could defend anywhere on the floor and rebounded bigger than her height. There’s a lot to like about where this young athlete’s game could go.
