Question and Answer: Kaylee Wendell (2020)

AAU season is in full swing, and the seasons stars are stepping forward. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="126241" first="Kaylee" last="Wendel"] </strong>is one of those stars. In fact, she was considered an MVP for her performance at the Cager Invitational last weekend. <strong>Wendel </strong>is a 5’10” guard/forward in the class of 2020. She plays AAU basketball for TC Elite Woodmore and attends Howell High School. Question:  What do you think is the biggest strength of your game? <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="126241" first="Kaylee" last="Wendel"]:  </strong>My length and versatility. Question:  How do you feel about you and your high school teams performance last season? <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="126241" first="Kaylee" last="Wendel"]:  </strong>I’m proud of my teammates on how hard we worked and I’m motivated to go farther this year. Question:  What part of your game do you feel really developed over the high school season? <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="126241" first="Kaylee" last="Wendel"]:  </strong>I’ve really developed my ability to finish at the rim; with and without contact. Question:  What are your basketball goals this spring and summer? <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="126241" first="Kaylee" last="Wendel"]:  </strong>My goals are to improve my jump shot and ball handling. Question:  Who is the best player you have ever matched up against? <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="126241" first="Kaylee" last="Wendel"]:  </strong>Camree Clegg from Wayne Memorial. Question:  What do you like the most about AAU/travel season? <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="126241" first="Kaylee" last="Wendel"]:  </strong>I like the different atmosphere of AAU, and getting to play all different types of players.
