There are girls basketball players starting high school in the fall that have star potential. <strong>Gracey Metz </strong>is one of the freshman-to-be In the class 2022 that fans and coaches need to keep their eyes on. She is a 5’11” combo guard that plays AAU basketball for Legacy 2021/2022 and will attend Hartland High School.
<strong>Metz </strong>has excellent perimeter skills. She’s a very good ball handler who can break a press. <strong>Metz</strong> has the ability to see the court and find teammates in scoring positions. She is accurate with her passes as well. <strong>Metz </strong>uses her ball handling skills to be efficient when getting to the basket.

<strong>Gracey Metz </strong>is always on the court working to improve. She is taking part in summer workouts, summer basketball with the varsity high school team, and AAU tournaments. In 2017 she was part of an AAU team that finished in 8th place at D1 AAU Nationals. <strong>Metz </strong>is working to improve as a shooter and getting stronger in the post. She is looking forward to the challenge of high school basketball. <strong>Metz </strong>is eagerly anticipating the experience of bus rides to games and team bonding.
Even at a young age, <strong>Metz </strong>is a driven student and athlete. She wants to play basketball or soccer at the Division 1 level. <strong>Metz </strong>wants to go to college and get a degree, eventually leading to a career as a doctor, nurse, or math teacher. She is motivated by, and looks up to, her brother <strong>Evan Metz</strong>, who is also an excellent student-athlete.
<strong>Gracey Metz </strong>is a girls high school basketball prospect to watch over the next four years. She brings a passion for the game and high basketball IQ to whatever team she plays for. <strong>Metz </strong>has a very valuable skill set, that given work and continued improvement, is transferable to the next level.
