Here are some teams that had particularly good weeks:
West Fargo
It was a good week for Packer basketball on both the boys and girls side. The ladies picked up two excellent wins last week, beating Fargo Davies Thursday – a team competing with them for the third spot in the EDC – before taking out Grand Forks Central by 32 Saturday. West Fargo is riding a five-game winning streak and in the thick of the EDC race.
Bismarck Century
The Patriots have shown no signs of slowing down and further evidence of their superiority over the rest of the state was provided last week as they picked up two more thoroughly dominant wins. Century beat Bismarck Legacy 60-39 Thursday before going to Jamestown and beating the Blue Jays 71-55.
Four Winds/Minnewaukan
The Indians had a lengthy break from game action and showed no signs of rust last week, picking up two wins including one over a top-ranked club. Four Winds blew out Benson County 73-34 Tuesday before earning a hard-fought, resume-building 63-57 win over Rugby.
Shiloh Christian
The Skyhawks had a productive week, earning three wins including two really good ones. Shiloh blew out Flasher to kick off the week before beating Grant County 53-46 in a game featuring the two teams fighting to contend in Region 5. The Skyhawks put a bow on the week with an impressive 56-38 win over Glen Ullin in the Bismarck Jamboree.
