3A Regional Preview: Clinton Regional

As postseason starts tomorrow for 3A teams. We are going to break down each region with each in-depth analysis. We will make predictions and potential sleeper teams that can break a bracket. <strong>Clinton Regional Monday, Feb. 11 Games</strong> GAME 1 -- No. 8 Clinton vs. No. 9 Mahomet-Seymour, 6 p.m. GAME 2 -- No. 5 Champaign Central vs. No. 11 Rantoul, 7:30 p.m. <strong>Tuesday, Feb. 12 Games</strong> GAME 3 -- No. 1 Charleston vs. Winner Game 1, 6 p.m. GAME 4 -- No. 4 Urbana vs. Winner Game 2, 7:30 p.m. <strong>Thursday, Feb. 14 Game (Regional Championship)</strong> GAME 5 -- Winner Game 3 vs. Winner Game 4, 7 p.m. <strong>The Favorite</strong> Charleston Lady Trojans are still undefeated (28-0)and come into regional play as the favorites. They have been dominating their last several outings. Sophomore Phenomenal <strong>Shae Littleford</strong> has been incredible this season leading Charleston in scoring and recently passing the 1,000 point threshold. She is a huge part of their offense with a high usage and she also averages a team-high 23.6 ppg. <strong>The Dark Horse</strong> Champaign Lady Maroons have the most impressive strength of schedule in this bracket already having wins against  Rantoul, Urbana, and Mahomet.
