First year Ocean Lakes head coach Lisa Merriweather, guided the Dolphins to an 18-5 record this season and the No.1 seed in the Class 6 Region A tournament. Ocean Lakes is hoping to reach their third state tournament berth behind the high scoring senior duo of Kayla Mcmakin and NJIT commit, Kendal Dalrymple.
The Class 6 Region A quarterfinals begin on Tuesday at the higher seeded teams. Quarterfinal winners move on to the Norfolk Scope which will host Fridays semifinals and the regional championship on Monday.
