The Division 3 Final 4 was highlighted by the intense competition between 4 teams that weren’t seperated by much. There were star players to watch and incredible team performances.
In the semifinals, Flint Hamady edged Lake City by a score of 42-33. Flint Hamady rode a 24-13 second half score to earn a trip to the state championship game. In the other semifinal game, Pewamo-Westphalia defeated Ypsilanti Arbor Prep 37-33 to advance to the finals. After a back and forth 1st half and a defensive battle in the 2nd, Pewamo-Westphalia outscored Arbor Prep by 4 in overtime.
The championship game didn’t disappoint. Pewamo-Westphalia earned a state championship with a 40-33 victory. Pewamo-Westphalia jumped out to an early lead with an 11-5 1st quarter and Flint Hamady could never recover.

Droste was magnificent throughout the Final 4. She was the leading scorer, averaging 16.5 ppg in the 2 games. In the semifinals Droste had 15 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists. She added 18 points in the title game. Droste went 12-14 from the free throw line to help secure a state championship.

Ardis had 14 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 steals in a semifinal loss to Flint Hamady.
<strong>Rachel Huhn </strong>(Pewamo-Westphalia)
Huhn was quietly a key factor for Pewamo-Westphalia. In the round of 4 she had 6 points and 3 rebounds. Huhn added 10 points and 6 rebounds in the championship.

Jackson was strong and steady for Arbor Prep. She had 10 points and 8 rebounds in the semifinals.

In a semifinal loss, Petticord led her team with 14 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 assists.

In the semis Naylor had 10 points and 8 rebounds. She had 6 points and 3 rebounds in the championship.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="126239" first="Hannah" last="Spitzley"] </strong>(Pewamo-Westphalia)
Spitzley led her team with 16 points in the round of 4. She also added 4 rebounds. In the title game, Spitzley had 8 points and 3 rebounds.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="2490" first="Xeryia" last="Tartt"] </strong>(Flint Hamady)
Tartt led her team in the state championship game, scoring 15 points and adding 5 steals and 4 rebounds.
<strong>Treshondra Williams </strong>(Flint Hamady)
Williams had 9 points and 12 rebounds in the semifibal win. She added 7 points and 4 rebounds in the championship.
