Ambranette Storr to Drake

<strong>Ambranette Storr </strong>of Kankakee High School (IL) and the powerhouse Chicago Hoops Express has committed to Drake University and HC Jenny Barancyzk.
Storr is one of the best guards in the country and is easily the shiftiest guard in the state. Her handle is very slick and it is a great handle to go with her ultra-quick first step. Her finishing ability is phenomenal. She is a plus finisher that is very crafty around the rim. She is a great rebounder as a guard as in her high school season she average (7.9) Rebounders per game. Her outstanding rebound allows her to break out in transition and start fast break and she is a difficult cover for anyone in the country when she is playing downhill. She has a nice pull-up game and has shown great potential to be a plus shooter from deep with range at the college level. She also is coming off a great season with Kankakee as they look to make a run at state next season, she also 24.9 points per game this past season and was named Illinois 1st Team All-state (USA Today).
Storr said she choose <strong>Drake </strong>because the coaching staff made her feel family and the coaching staff emphasis on education and life after basketball, She also said she liked Drake facilities. She really appreciates the fact that Drake showed her love throughout the recruitment process.
Storr also spoked on goals for herself this upcoming July and her upcoming senior season. She is excited about making a run to state her high school season and cemented her legacy at Kankakee. She also wants to make first-team All-State again and she wants to make her jump shot more lethal.
