#1 Heavenly Greer
Height: 6’3
Position: F
School: Shadow Mountain
Greer has played very well this summer, following up a great junior season. She has been playing in CA for West Coast Premier on the Nike Circuit. Greer looks just as good as ever and even looks a little bit more mobile and agile than last season. Greer and Zelaya are right there with each other in my mind as far as #1 and #2.
#2 Ali Zelaya
Height: 6’4
Position: F
School: Millennium
Zelaya has played really well this summer. Unfortunately, she got hurt about half way through. Wish we could have seen more of her and wish her a speedy recovery. The injury doesn’t affect her ranking at all. Zelaya is more than talented enough to be in our #2 spot.
#3 Anna Ostlie
Height: 5’8
Position: PG
School: Chaparral
Here’s a kid who has had a great summer and really risen in our rankings. Ostlie was an unknown to be at launch. I quickly found out who she was while watching AZ Elite. In my opinion, she is the best pure point guard in the 2020 class and maybe even the entire state. She more than deserves a top 3 spot in our rankings.
#4 Jasmine Singleton
Height: 5’7
Position: G
School: Millennium
Jasmine Singleton finally breaks into the top 5! Many people cried out that she should be a top 5 kid and she wan’t until now because I hadn’t seen her play enough to make a decisive evaluation on her. Now I agree with the general public and truly believe she is a top 5 talent. She might be one of the toughest defensive guards in the entire state.
#5 Senya Rabouin
Height: 5’5
Position: PG
School: Shadow Mountain
Rabouin falls a little bit in our rankings. She has always been within the top 5 since launch but has dropped a few spots. This is not her fault, she has not played poorly or anything. I think the emergence of Singleton and Ostlie this summer was enough to edge them out over her…for now. We will reevaluate the rankings as the high school season gets under way, either way….I do not see Rabouin dropping out of the top 5 anytime soon.
