Caely “CK” Keston, 5’8, G, 2020, Lawrence Free State
Keston has good size and nice handles for her position. She is a good shooter at the wing spot and works hard to find space and create openings. She’s also good in transition and has the confidence to take the ball inside and squirrel the glass or stop a few feet from the basket for a pull-up jumper.
Cassie Onwugbufor, 5’5, G, 2020, Maize
A hard-working player who has great speed and can get to the basket and finish against much taller opponents. She has nice hesitation and confidence in hurry euro-step. She also looks to rebound and can do so well for her size. A player with some swagger and a knack for being at the right place at the right time.
Liz Taylor, 5’7, G, 2020, Wichita Southeast
An excellent three-point shooter when she finds her rhythm who can connect quickly and at a high percentage. Taylor has good floor spacing and is smart with the ball. She looks to shoot quickly when she has the opportunity but will pass it up if an opponent has an open shot better than hers. She is it thoughtful player and brings athleticism and skill to the floor.
Isabelle Anes, 5’7, G, 2020, Sunrise Christian Academy
A solid combo guard who can handle the ball and operate as a shooting option. Anes runs the floor well and can find pads to the basket. She absorbs contact well and takes her time and doesn’t force plays. She moves well off the ball but can create anything she needs for herself. An underrated player who does a little bit of everything on the floor.
