I really can’t argue with any of them (they’re all likely going to be really good unless there are some injuries or something else happens) but I’d add there are some more squads that have a chance to make some noise. Here are a few of them:
Hamilton
It’s hard to count out the defending state champion that should bring back six of its top seven scorers from the last season. Among the Huskies’ leaders is Victoria Davis, who averaged 11 points, around five rebounds, around three assists, and over three steals per game. They have a big junior class, as well, so they could be good for a couple years looking forward.

Another East Valley team, the Hawks could be a contender for the championship yet again this year, after being ranked in the top 8 last year. They bring back a great scoring duo in Airiana Madanski and Tieyah Rosier that could be a problem for teams across the conference. Expect some of their role players to step up, as well.

The Pride have been one of the best boys’ hoops programs the last few years. Now, it looks like the girls are up next. the incoming sophomore pair of Jaida Brooks (14 ppg) and Kishyah Anderson (8.4) are going to have another year of practice and growth under their belts, and I’m excited to see what they will look like in fall play and team activities.
