Mackenzie TownselMackenzie Townsel-5’7- Lady Drive Nation Duncan 2023- how can I can’t the ways she sold me on what I was looking at. Handles the ball under pressure, sees the floor, fast, with the ball and under control, attacked with a devastating first step, athleticism and power enables her to finish with contact and she plays the passing lane
Ja’Shelle Johnson-5’5- San Antonio Finest KI WILL-another speedy guard who can not only handle the ball and pressure but apply it as well. She understands how to run a team, she also understands how to attack the basket while being defended
Peyton Landry (center)Peyton Landry-5’3- Texas Savage- speedy guards seem to be on a roll and her athleticism and ability to get to the rim were definite pluses yet you have to keep adding things up because she can dish it off on the money going full speed. Quick hands on defense and she applies heat baseline to baseline
Chelsey Singleton-5’6-Cy Fair Elite Gold (Johnson)-powerful point guard that shows signs of being able to punish defenders with her strength. I don’t what impressed me more, her rebounding against taller players and igniting the break or her ability to push the ball cleverly and effective to set her teammates up for gimmes. You can’t play to close, she can definitely get to the rim yet she also showed the 3 ball
Sydney WadeSydney Wade-5’4-Lady Drive Nation 2023 Red/Hack-how many shots she makes, A LOT, how many assist she gave A LOT, how impressed am I, A WHOLE LOT because of the simple fact that I truly enjoyed watching her last year and the progression shows me she’s continuing to work. Mid to long, attack, run the squad, she is nowhere near the player I foresee in the future so be ready, she definitely will be
Aarianna Masters-5’6-Team Spaz-when I talk about progression, it can be in the AM like now or PM when I see most of her games but coaches will be DM her about her game. Her poise and understanding of the game has grown so much since I first saw her, her passion is second to none and she’s elevated her outside shooting that creates problems and here’s why. She can take defenders easily, she’s strong and if you double team, that “no look” in which she threads the needle can hurt your neck
