Let me preface this article by saying that I’m in no way ’cool’. But even if I was, these players have me beat.
Now lets explain what I mean by ’cool’. We AREN’T talking about a most popular vote or a headcount of friends. When I say cool, I mean someone that can’t be fazed on the basketball court. I’m talking about someone that comes to the gym with an aura. When they walk in, everyone can sense it and turns to look. They play and conduct themselves with an unflappable confidence.
So here it is, 6 seniors that are way cooler than me:
McKenna Bent (2020, PG, Comstock Park)
Bent walks in, and opposing coaches shake their heads. Everyone knows that they’re about to see a floor general that will run a well orchestrated offensive attack.
[player_tooltip player_id="126256" first="Tarryn" last="Brooks"] (2020, C, Detroit Henry Ford Academy SCS)
Who wouldn’t want Brooks on their side? She’s one of the strongest post players around. Brooks is a game changer in the paint.
[player_tooltip player_id="23762" first="Carlee" last="Crabtree"] (2020, SF, Coldwater)
Heads turn when Crabtree shows up. Coaches and players know that they’re about to see one of the most well rounded wings in the state. Crabtree is a disciplined 2 way player.
[player_tooltip player_id="23771" first="Becca" last="Morrish"] (2020, C, Flushing)
Morrish shows up at the gym and everyone instantly knows that points in the paint are going to be tough to come by. She’s a rim protector and picks up a lot of put back buckets.
[player_tooltip player_id="23784" first="Aryana" last="Naylor"] (2020, C, Flint Hamady)
Naylor knows that she’s going to effect the outcome of every game in some way. It could be scoring with her athleticism in the paint or protecting the rim on defense.
[player_tooltip player_id="23792" first="Alize" last="Tripp"] (2020, G, Michigan Center)
Everyone wants an [player_tooltip player_id="23792" first="Alize" last="Tripp"] on their team. Coaches and fellow players appreciate her all out hustle and grit. Tripp is willing to sacrifice in any way for her team.
