Tierney Coleman Trinity Christian Senior
Coleman is a confident lead ball handler with good size for the position. She shoots efficiently well beyond the college three point line. She makes teammates better with smart, timely passes.
Mikayla Brown South Oak Cliff Sophomore
The rising sophomore is an encouraging post prospect to watch. Her combination of size and strength gives her the ability to use her go to post moves.
Alexis Brown Lincoln Senior
Alexis Brown is a creative scoring guard. Her tight handle allows her to puts defenders on their heels. She scores from all three levels and draws fouls with ease.
Rayna Ross Waxahachie Senior
Ross has a strong two-way play to her game. The 5-10 senior starts the game on defense where her size and footwork kept her in front of some of the league’s best guards. On offense, she’s a good decision maker while running the offense. When the offense breaks down, and it’s time for her to get a bucket she uses quick moves to blow by defenders.
Maya Williams Waxahachie Junior
Williams dictates the pace of the game and never seems to be in a rush. The 5-10 guard is best with the ball in her hands to set up plays.
Kyla McBride Waxahachie Freshman
McBride is a high potential freshman. She stands 6-2 and has a ton of mobility. She protects the paint on defense altering and blocking shots without leaving her feet. On offense, a midrange jump shot and flashes of versatility make her one to watch.
Kennedi Johnson Skyline Freshman
This 2023 prospect continues to dazzle even with a senior point guard running mate. She’s quick and fearless finishing around the basket on one end and rebounding on the next. She’s a big time shooter on and off the ball.
Donavia Hall Plano East Sophomore
Hall may have been the most dominant underclassmen on the floor all day. Her athleticism is best shown by her speed and strength that combine for a great transition game. Hall covers a ton of ground on the defensive end stepping over to cut off driving lanes and closing out to her matchup. She’s a three-level scorer but when she has a full head of steam, it’s going bright to the paint.
Hannah Hanes Tyler Lee Senior
Hanes runs the offense just like the coach drew it up. She’s a true floor general that setts up the offense and directs traffic. She’s a big guard with a tight handle.
Alyssia Thorne Tyler Lee Senior
Thorne is a cog that every good defense needs. She’s usually in a good defensive position and rotates well on pick and rolls. On the ball, she’s a tough defender using her strength to force the defense toward teammates. On offense, she’s energy player competing for offensive rebounds and setting hard screens.
