Cyncere RobertsCyncere Roberts-G (Heights) smooth as silk, her athleticism is through the roof and it showed in a sudden death OT game this past weekend because after the tip, she attacked the basket taking three steps from her teams side of half-court and elevated over taller defenders for the winner. That’s not all she did, she explodes off the dribble and her floater is consistent and hard to stop but her ability to create, off the dribble to attack the rim as well as her improved mid to long will raise plenty of eyebrows
Taylor JacksonTaylor Jackson-F (Cy Creek) wrote about her in elementary school when she was with a Katy Rebels squad and was impressed by not only her poise and ability to finish at a young age but her temperament of being “clobbered” and taking it with a smile. Over the years, I’ve watched her gradually improve, her hands and footwork definitely have improved as well as her ability to finish consistently but she’s powerful on defense, battles for rebounds on both ends and still has upside
Emari SidneyEmari Sidney-F (Cy Springs) always enjoyed watching her play, why, because she got hers in the flow and after the game, you see the stat-sheet has been filled but more importantly , she has taken everything to another level and not only is she filling it up, she’s doing it with power. You can’t teach heart, desire and willingness to battle and if you think you can, you’re in that other universe I opened with. She’s relentlessly attacking the rim, finishing with contact and hitting the outside shot with regularity
