These Seniors will be looking to build off of their successful season last year and try to make a bigger splash this season by earning that Player of the Year award!
Kasey Hamilton, 5’8″ PG, Washburn Rural High School #16 in the Kansas Prep Girls Hoops Rankings. Kasey knows how to run a team at the point guard position, much like she does on the pitcher’s mound when she is striking batter’s out for the Washburn Rural Softball team. Hamilton can shoot from the perimeter but she’s best when she’s pushing the tempo for her team. Kasey has committed to Kansas University for softball.
Molly Kaemmer, 6’0″ F, Olathe East High School #24 in the Kansas Prep Girls Hoops Rankings. Molly has some good athleticism and strong hands when in the post. She really knows how to control the paint on the offensive end of the floor, she displays great body control. Kaemmer could easily average a double-double in points and rebounds for her final season at Olathe East.
Kierra Prim, 5’7″ G/F, Shawnee Mission West High School #36 in the Kansas Prep Girls Hoops Rankings. Kierra is one of the more athletic players I’ve had the privilege of watching this past season. She won plenty of hardware in the 6A Kansas High School State Track Championships last season, all sprinting events. Kierra uses her speed and elite athleticism to create havoc on both ends of the floor, which makes the game look easy for Prim.
