#1 Valley Vista
I have VV picked as my State Championship winners so of course they are ranked at #1. Once they get Jennah Isai back, I think you’d be very hard pressed to not consider them #1. We’ll have to wait and see what they look like while Isai is recovering, my guess is that they are still going to be dang good.
#2 Perry
Perry is a very close second. They have so much depth. Madison Connor and Taty Clayburne are future D1 guards. Shay O’Neil and Jayden James are D1/D2 prospects. Nicole Smith, Grace Oken, and Gabrielle Schwartz are all capable of playing D2-NAIA. They have a ton of talent!
#3 Hamilton
Hamilton has a super deep team as well. Gracie Roybal, Samara Curry, Amyah Reaves, Victoria Davis, Zakiirah King all return from winning state last season. They are super deep and know what it takes to win the championship!
#4 Chaparral
Chaparral also has two D1 guards of their own, with Jess Finney and Anna Ostlie. Both should have huge seasons as they are crucial to Chaparral’s success. I think they have what it takes to make some noise in 6A.
#5 Pinnacle
Pinnacle has two D1 players as well with Ally Stedman and Kennedy Basham. They’ll be quite the guard/big duo. They also have some nice role players with Shay Figueroa and Nora Kruja. They should be pretty good this year!
