The 2019-2020 high school season will be here before we know it. Lets take a look at some potential junior All-State point guards. [player_tooltip player_id="27985" first="Abrie" last="Cabana"] (2021, PG, Grass Lake) Cabana is a top notch floor general and an elite shooter. The Grand Valley State commit has in the gym range on her jumper and she hits it with consistency. Cabana can also be trusted to always look for, and feed, the hot hand. [player_tooltip player_id="138299" first="Kailee" last="Davis"] (2021, PG, Detroit Renaissance) Good luck finding a better ball handler than Davis. She can singlehandedly beat a press with her speed and handles. Davis effectively controls the pace and feel of a game. [player_tooltip player_id="4132" first="Damiya" last="Hagemann"] (2021, PG, Detroit Edison) Hagemann is an All-State player to say the least. She’s one of the top junior point guards in the country. Hagemann can deliver a pass through the smallest of openings and can not just hit the open player, but her passes can get players open. Emaia O’Brien (2021, PG, Chandler Park) O’Brien is one of the most explosive scorers in the junior class. She uses excellent hip movement to shake her defenders. O’Brien is very fast and excels in the open floor. [player_tooltip player_id="4176" first="Anna" last="Tuck"] (2021, PG, Midland Dow) Tuck is a matchup nightmare. Her combination of size and athleticism makes her almost impossible to keep in check. Tuck has good straight line speed and sees the entire floor. N’kyesha Sanders (2021, PG, Chandler Park) Sanders is a true leader that guides and inspires her teammates. She’s a stat sheet stuffer, piling up the points, steals, and assists. Sanders has the ability to play on or off the ball. [player_tooltip player_id="138313" first="Ellie" last="Sieler"] (2021, PG, Monroe) Sieler is a well rounded athlete, starring in multiple sports. She can put the ball on the floor and create for herself and her teammates. Sieler is a high percentage 3 point shooter and keeps her turnover numbers low. [player_tooltip player_id="138312" first="Saniaa" last="Walker"] (2021, PG, Flint Kearsley) Walker is one of the best on ball defenders in Michigan. She is just relentless on the defensive end. Walker’s quick feet and understanding of defensive positioning make her incredibly tough to beat.
