Alaya Fitzgerald Makes All-Conference 1st Team
Last season, Fitzgerald made the All-Region first team for her region. This season, I think she takes that a step further and makes the 4A All-Conference Team. She has really improved this summer and I think she will shock a lot of people with her play. She could be one of the most improved players of the season.
Senya Rabouin Wins 4A Player of the Year
Senya Rabouin won 4A Offensive Player of the Year last season. I think she will win that award again and even win player of the year. Rabouin should see a jump in her scoring numbers now that Heavenly Greer is gone. Senya will have to carry more of the scoring load now and could see a big spike in her PPG.
Alyssa Brown Averages over 25 and 10
Last season, Brown averaged 24 PPG and 7 RPG. This season, I think she could easily average 25 or more points per game as well as averaging 10 or more rebounds per game. She turned in a great season last year, as a sophomore, she’s coming back having grown physically, mentally, and skill wise.
Seton Wins State
For a while, I’ve been going back and forth between who I think will win state. I saw Shadow Mountain and Seton Catholic as my two main contenders to win it. Today, I want to make my final prediction for the season and say that Seton Catholic will win the 4A State Championship.
