With that being said, I did a story on small guards that went off during the event, Bria McClure and so many other talented guards showed #sizedidntmatter because if you can play, it doesn’t.
Lily LopezFreshman Lily Lopez went completely off a few months ago dropping 8 or 9 threes, might have been 10, I was going dfrom gym to gym but watching her drop four in a row, that makes the rooster crown if you know anything about bones but if you don’ t, she was one of many talented players on the squad. The team is geared around three seniors who bring a lot to the table
Jennifer Terrazas-CamposJennifer Terrazas-Campos-5’6 G-impressed me so much on that initial sighting that I added her to the Top 100 plus for the 2020 class, why I know some novice is asking, well because I know what I’m looking at and it didn’t take me forever to see that she can play “somewhere” at the next level. Plays within herself, good BB-IQ, creates and has a nice pull-up
Serena James-5’7 G/F-I keep saying and writing over and over that being long and athletic is always a plus, factor in playing under control while going hard keeps adding good things to the sum. Okay, those are not going to be on the SAT or ACT but she sats on players defensively and acts attentively playing the passing lane and rebounding over taller opponents really doesn’t take arithmetic to get the answer
Imani Hardin-5’9 F- definitely has the right last name because she plays HARD and drives IN with ease, but she also overpowers defenders, she takes the lick and finishes but get this, she keeps battling in the paint and I’ve said this countless times, you can’t teach effort. Her college ready frame also was able to not only defend on the perimiter but face the basket and score
