Priscilla Williams
I don’t think there is any surprise here. This 6’3 guard is one of the best shooters in the state and nobody can argue that. Williams is headed to Syracuse after graduation, which means if you want to see her torching the nets from long range you better do it soon. Williams attends Branson High School in southwestern Missouri.
Kate Rolfes
This kid is the real deal. One word that would describe this young lady is perfectionist. I watched her go 7-7 from distance to start a game this summer and when she missed her eighth attempt she was visibly frustrated with herself. Put simply, it is evident that Rolfes works tirelessly on her game and if she gets a decent look it’s going to find nylon. Rolfes is staying local after graduating this year, as she is committed to Maryville University in St. Louis.
Brooke Littrell
As a junior, this 6’2 Green City High School product is a walking bucket. Littrell averaged 30+ points per game last season and is one of the better small-school products to come through the Show-Me State in the last few years. Littrell attracted the attention of a number of mid-major division one schools, and recently committed to division two powerhouse University of Central Missouri. Littrell’s size makes her a matchup nightmare for opponents and her offensive skill set is just overpowering. Littrell has already scored 2,000 plus points in her three years at Green City.
Abby Backes
This two-time All-State guard has been an integral piece for the Class 2 Lady Cardinals. Having already eclipsed the 2,000 career points mark, there is no telling how many points this small school product will finish her career with. This 5’5 shooting guard has an easy stroke that comes with a lightning-quick release and her jump shot finds the bottom of the bucket quite often. Backes has already committed to NAIA powerhouse, Columbia College and head coach Taylor Possail.
Madi Braden
Last, but certainly not least, is Madi Braden. Braden is a 5’4 senior from Ozark High School who is committed to the College of the Ozarks. When it comes to loooong range gunners, this kid is one of the best. Braden may very well have the most range of any shooter here in the Show-Me State and she has made a name for herself by taking and making a ton of these long-range daggers.
