San Antonio Veterans Memorial not only has that but an up and coming junior that adds to the fact that they are definitely a team to be reckoned with. Sahara Jones catapulted into the Top 10 for the 2020 class after watching her during July and at 6’1, ultra-athletic and probably a 6’3 or 6’4 wingspan, she simply was a nightmare on both ends of the court and her energy was just contagious not only at Prime Time’s Summer Elite Showcase but also at Pass Tha Ball’s All-Star Extravaganza, the I-45 Shootout. Jones wasn’t on hand for the South Texas Classic, she was on an official visit, but she will be up, up and away at the Texas Invitational
Brenna PerezI did catch her fellow Top 100 teammate Brenna Perez, talented and versatile are a couple of words I’ll throw out because she not only scores multiple ways, she can attack from every angle or right down the middle, she also has nice moves on the inside with her back to the basket. Her skill set is solid, she finishes strong and that includes with contact but two things that definitely impressed me even more, she has nice range, that pull-up in transition is solid as well as her ability to see the court because she passes quite well from the 3/4/5 position
Reinha WilliamsI had to go back and use my own search bar on my website and blog just to see if I had ever mentioned 2021 Reinha Williams and providing I actually saw her, had a roster and her name was spelled correctly, either on the roster or by the person inputting the information, well me, I came to the conclusion that I hadn’t and this falls under that “talent is everywhere” if you know what you’re looking at category and I saw trouble on both ends. She’s powerful, either going to the basket and finishing strong as well as her defense, in the paint or “man up” baseline to baseline, she can punish. She’s a good rebounder, offensively and defensively, and she definitely grabbed my attention
