Here were the standouts for all positions from a competitive game in North Georgia.
Tyler Brazle | 5’8 | PG | Marist | 2020
A senior guard with veteran leadership and a point guard mentality. She has great basketball intelligence and good court vision. She showed off a good passing ability picking up multiple assists on consecutive possessions. She also had a good understanding of when to take advantage of her own scoring opportunities. She defends well using a combination of strength and anticipation. She truly made her teammates better. She finished with 8 assists.
Jamison Henley | 6’0 | F | Marist | 2021
A strong and physical forward that plays with good aggression for her position. She battled against another good post in the state, mentioned below, and she had the upper hand. She did a great job of creating separation from her defender when her guards were driving which led to several dump down passes for quick easy scores. She really went strong to the glass to bring in several rebounds. She is on the watchlist for the class of 2021. She finished with 17 points, 7 rebounds, and a block.

Locke came prepared for the challenge to take on Henley. The junior post, ranked #11 for her class, has great size and length. She has fully committed to the role of rim protector for her team as she frequently altered shots or got a block. Her offensive game tonight showed glimpses of her skills. As she continues to gain upper body strength it will only become more consistent.
Bella Brick | 5’5 | G | Flowery Branch | 2023
This young guard put her shooting ability on display. She showed an understanding of moving without the ball. She would find the open area around the perimeter in the half-court and in transition ready to knock down the catch and shoot three. She went 4 for 5 from beyond the arc. She also showed a pump fake counter that was used to lift the defender and create an easy driving lane. She finished with 14 points and 2 assists.
Eva Writz | 5’8 | G | Marist | 2020
Writz plays with energy and effort that is contagious for her team. She demonstrated a great feel for the game. She showed the skill set to get to the rim with a few dribbles on straight-line drives. Her first step is very quick. She picked a few good assists by penetrating hard and dropping nice passes to the posts.
Shaina Kriews | 5’6 | G | Flowery Branch | 2022
Kriews played both primary ball-handling and off-ball guard positions. She was very patient in the half-court offense and made good decisions on when to pressure the defense in transition. She showed a good three-point stroke going 2 for 2 from beyond the arc. She also picked up multiple assists by making several unselfish extra passes, giving up a good shot for a better shot.

This is one of the top shooters in the 2020 class that is still available. Donahue has a great looking shot beyond the arc. She has a quick release and can shoot with range. She is great in transition and gets from the wing to the rim in two dribbles. She is an athletic guard with good size and uses it to shot over defenders or finish strong tough layups at the rim. She is an addition to our watchlist for the 2020 class.
