12/16 – Monday – Redfield at Faulkton 6:30 pm – Addy Rozell (2021, 6’2″) has recovered from the ACL injury, and can rely upon a strong senior class. Faulkton rolled into state VB, motivated, finished second, and should remain on-fire in GBB.
12/17 –Tuesday – Howard at Chester 6:15 pm DH – All-State Hilary Albrecht runs roughshod over a rebuilding Chester squad
Brookings at Harrisburg 7:00 pm – Inside power by BKG meets multiple scoring threats from Harrisburg
Avon at Corsica/Stickney 6:30 pm – two freshman sensations, Shalayne Nagel vs Avery Broughton – should be a classic
Scotland at Menno 6:15 pm – Morgan Edleman could go off for 30-plus in any game
Freeman vs McCook Central at Montrose 6:15 pm – Size, speed, and depth should hammer down Freeman early
Pierre at Huron 7:00 pm – Superb guard depth will test Huron’s Havyn Heinz’s stamina and resolve
SF Lincoln at SF Washington – 7:00 pm – Chemistry exam for Team SFW.
Flandreau at Tea Area 6:15 pm DH – Tea Area needs players to step up to handle the Flyers
Bridgewater-Emery at Viborg-Hurley 6:15pm – Kerrigan Schultz and Julia Weber ignite an inside-outside inferno
MVP at West Central 6:30 pm – key match ups are Cassidy Siemonsma vs Katlyn Briggs in the paint. Everywhere else, look for Rylee Haldeman vs Emilee Fox.

The Lakota Nation Invitational runs from Wednesday through Saturday at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center, 16 teams – 64 games. Using a two bracket format, only the Wednesday matchups are known. When the dust settles Saturday, White River wins over Red Cloud in the LNI Makosica bracket. Todd County repeats in the LNI Paha Sapa bracket over Crow Creek
12/19 – Thursday – Beresford at Flandreu 6:15 pm DH – the Niles sisters prevail over the Parsley family

12/21 – Saturday – STM at Watertown 5:30 pm CT – All-State Haleigh Timmer and STM has superior fitness.
SF O’Gorman at SF Lincoln 3:30pm – O’G angels do a dance number on SFL’s ambitions
