Talk about a productive two days and yet I still missed some teams as I get ready to head to Waco for the MT Rice Tournament but I've seen several of the top teams in the state and one thing is for certain, there is no clear cut favorite to win it all, the Texas state championship, and I'm just talking about 6A. In the MISD Spring Creek Invitational, Amarillo, back to back 5A champions, lost to Allen, led by Louisiana Tech signee Tyler Jackson in the second round, didn't see that coming and Allen lost in the next round to Arlington Martin, Kylie Loftis (Virginia Commonwealth University), I left at the half and I certainly didn't see that coming but on any given day would be appropriate.
