Earlier we looked at some "Weekend Warriors" the had standout performances this weekend. There were so many quality games with big time players that it was impossible to fit into 1 article. So let’s look at some more great individual players from last weekends slate of games.
<h5><a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/player/cheyenne-mcevans/">[player_tooltip player_id="126235" first="Cheyenne" last="McEvans"]</a> (2020, CG, Southfield A&T)</h5>
McEvans’ squad lost a classic double overtime game, 53-50, against Arbor Prep. That didn’t stop her from showing why she’s one of the top seniors in the state and a Miss Basketball candidate. McEvans finished with 21 points.

Petticord was a leader in an outstanding Motor City Roundball Classic game against Southfield A&T. She led her Arbor Prep team to a double overtime win by the score of 53-50. Petticord seemed to control the defense all game. It’s easy to see why she’s an elite prospect on a national scale.

Repress is quickly putting her name on the map in Michigan high school basketball. In the Motor City Roundball Classic, she scored 21 points in a tough 81-60 loss to Chicago Simien. Repress also chipped in with 6 rebounds and 2 blocks.
<h5><a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/player/siena-smith/">[player_tooltip player_id="126289" first="Siena" last="Smith"]</a> (2020, G, Ann Arbor Huron)</h5>
Smith was outstanding in the Washtenaw Holiday Classic. She led her Huron squad to a tight 68-62 victory over West Bloomfield. Smith had 22 points in the win. There’s a reason that she’s one of the biggest stockrisers in the class of 2020.
<h5><a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/player/whitney-sollom/">[player_tooltip player_id="23748" first="Whitney" last="Sollom"]</a> (2020, PF, Hartland)</h5>
Sollom continues to be a do it all threat in the post. In the Motor City Roundball Classic, she controlled the paint en route to a 20 point performance. Sollom led her team to a 72-31 win over Bay City John Glenn.
<h5><a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/player/morgan-thompson/">[player_tooltip player_id="126249" first="Morgan" last="Thompson"]</a> (2020, C, Northville)</h5>
Thompson needs to be recognized as an elite center in Michigan’s senior class. She scored 24 points, leading her team to a 72-68 double overtime win against South Lyon East.
