Marshaun Bostic 5’9″ Gateway STEM: The talented 2021 combo guard is one of the fastest guards in the state. Her end-to-end rushes with the basketball in her hands are sometimes breathtaking. She’s fast, but she always seems under control when she weaves up and down the court to another successful finish. She can also put her speed and athleticism to good use on the defensive end as she can lock down opposing players. She has also improved her perimeter jumper. She is currently 14 points, 5.4 rebounds, 5.9 assists and 5.3 steals. The young lady can make it happen on both ends of the court.
Raychel Jones 5’10” Vashon: The versatile wing player is one of the top 2023 players in the state and she has made an immediate impact in helping to turn around the Wolverines basketball fortunes. She can play any position from the point guard to the post and she can cause problems with her size and length on the defensive end. She is a willing passer who can get to the basket and get buckets in the lane. She is currently averaging 16.5 points, 9.1 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 3.6 steals a game.
Kanitra Barnett 5’11” Vashon: A tough, young 2023 forward who enjoyed a breakout performance this week with 19 points and 22 rebounds in a victory over St. Pius. She is a physical player in the post who has good footwork and does a nice job on the pick and roll. She is averaging nine points and nine rebounds a game while shooting nearly 50 percent from the field. She will be averaging a double-double throughout the balance of her career.
Kelsey Harris 5’8″ Miller Career Academy: A talented 2022 wing player who brings instant offense off the bench for a very good Phoenix team. She has an excellent touch from 3-point range and she has full confidence in her ability to let it fly from long distance. She hit a clutch 3-pointer in the closing seconds to give the Phoenix a one-point victory over state-ranked KC Lincoln Prep at the STL MLK Classic last week.
Andrea Hudson 5’5″ Metro: A solid 2021 point guard who is strong with the basketball and plays excellent defense. She does a good job at getting into the lane and finding open teammates with her passing ability. She is averaging 8.2 points, 4.6 rebounds with three assists and three steals a game.
