Kara Daly 6’1″ Jefferson City: An excellent post player who got the Jays rolling early in the semifinals with 10 first quarter points. She is a physical player with a strong command of the low post. She establishes position well, catches the ball and she can score with both hands.
Ja’mise Bailey 5’8″ Webster Groves: An athletic two-way guard who led the Stateswomen to an upset of Jefferson City in the semifinals. She attacks the basket hard and will unleash a high arching jumper from 3-point range. She can also sit down and play some solid defense.
Reagan Rapert 5’7″ Union: An excellent lefty point guard who plays with a lot of pace and toughness. She has an excellent stroke from 3-point range and she can knock down shots off the catch and off the dribble. She scored 15 points in the Wildcats semifinal loss to Sullivan.
Hannah Nilges 5’10” Jefferson City: A tough competitive point guard who is making the transition from shooting guard last year to playing the point this season. After going scoreless in the first half of the semifinals against Webster Groves, she erupted for 13 points in the second half. She used her handles to deliver some nice takes to the basket, plus she hit a nice 3-pointer off the dribble.
Lahi Bursey 5’10” St. Clair: An athletic forward who plays the “Swiss Army Knife” role for her team. She can handle the ball, rebound, score inside and play excellent defense. She blocks shots and darts into the passing lanes.
Avery Lackey 6’1″ St. Francis Borgia: A long, lefty post player who scored a team-high 15 points in the semifinals against St. Clair. She came on strong in the second half with 11 points. She has a nice shooting touch in the post and out to 15 feet. She catches the ball and keeps it high and also has a high release on her jumper in the paint.
