2022 Point Guard Sleepers

The game has and always will start at the one, I love starting articles on point guards with that because it seems no matter how many times I give valuable free information out, it goes completely over the heads of money but basketball is simple to understand, once you get it and that’s playing. evaluating, or whatever so here are some talented point guards that can definitely get the job done [player_tooltip player_id="135380" first="Caitlyn" last="Panuco"] (Whitney) Current Rank #38 Panuco is heady point guard that can control the tempo nicely but don’t get it twisted, if needed she can fill it up quickly from mid to long or off the dribble [player_tooltip player_id="135386" first="Taylor" last="Bean"] (John Paul II) Current Rank #39 Bean has shown she doesn’t understand what pressure is because she handles it with ease. Solid ball-handling and passing, understands how to make teammates better and she can score [player_tooltip player_id="20252" first="Aaliyah" last="Collins"] (College Station) Current Rank #47 Collins was a key reason her squad went to the state tournament (UIL 5A) and her explosiveness off the dribble is key to her setting teammates up for baskets with solid passes, yet she too can score [player_tooltip player_id="135394" first="Savannah" last="Velazquez"] (George Ranch) Current Rank #53 Velazquez’s first step is key because she’s speedy and shifty with the ball. Crisp passes through traffic, off the dribble at that and she has a nice pull-up [player_tooltip player_id="135395" first="Deucee" last="Reed"] (Lewisville) Current Rank #54 Reed’s basketball IQ sold me years ago and she is a prototype PG that thinks pass first. She’s solid in every aspect from decision making to threading the needle but she sews it up with her shot [player_tooltip player_id="135404" first="Nyanna" last="Robertson"] (Boswell) Current Rank #63 Robertson is hard to handle, she’s a nightmare to defend in the open court yet her ability to run a squad is definitely next level. Controls tempo, vocal leader La’taisha Jefferson (Trimble Tech) Current Rank #64 Jefferson is also one of those "guards with speed" that can handle the ball going full blast, under control, and you never know what pass is coming but it’s on the money
