I always keep it real and this includes evaluations based on what I’ve seen in person however there are times when a video will do. Something came across my timeline showing ’20 Paige Beuckers and after a few plays, I knew what I was looking at without knowing who she was because I already know where the bar was set years ago, I’m not a novice at this so without catching #22 [player_tooltip player_id="135367" first="Bailey" last="Maupin"] (Grover) other than video, strong and solid scorer from mid to long-range or in the paint, I already know she’s legit. I didn’t catch #21 [player_tooltip player_id="135364" first="Peyton" last="Overton"] (Dulles) at all this season because she wasn’t eligible until January but I already called her a #D1Lock in middle school after watching her defend, make steals and hit jumpers galore. #29 [player_tooltip player_id="135371" first="Adlee" last="Blacklock"] (Trinity) and #39 [player_tooltip player_id="135381" first="Kiersten" last="Johnson"] (Prestonwood) sold me during the club season so again, both with attacking the rim relentlessly as well as showing a solid outside game, I am not a novice at this but these young ladies belong and so do these
[player_tooltip player_id="65906" first="Ashlon" last="Jackson"] (Hardin Jefferson)
Current Rank #1

Jackson can actually play all five positions, in fact she does just about anything on the court, handles the ball under pressure, sees the court, rebounds on both ends, NBA range, just a complete player

[player_tooltip player_id="96911" first="Alyssa" last="Tarpley"] (Allen)
Current Rank #13
Tarpley creates well under pressure and can elevate for the jumper or off the dribble and go by defenders. Handles the ball smoothly and sees the floor
[player_tooltip player_id="96915" first="Jamia" last="Harris"] (Desoto)
Current Rank #14
Harris is solid offensively, plays within herself yet fill up stat sheet. Understands how to get hers in the flow, good mid to long-range and can attack the basket while being defended
[player_tooltip player_id="135361" first="Nya" last="Threatt"] (Dulles)
Current Rank #16
Threatt showed her smoothness at a young age and that, coupled with a nice outside shot had her on my radar early. Very unselfish yet can take over offensively
[player_tooltip player_id="135362" first="Sydney" last="Love"] (Cibolo Steele)
Current Rank #17
Love caught my eye at the South Texas Classic and both of them at Texas Invitational creating and that pull-up yet after She’s Ballin, she is definitely "Movin On Up"
[player_tooltip player_id="135374" first="Jahcelyn" last="Hartfield"] (South Grand Prairie)
Current Rank #32
Hartfield not only can score from the outside as well as slicing from the wing but she can run the one and rebounds well from the guard spot. Physical defender, let me add that
[player_tooltip player_id="135384" first="Jasmyn" last="Lott"] (Memorial)
Current Rank #42
Lott showed me a whole LOTT in the 7th grade, she was athletic and full of energy, plus she played the passing lane. Her outside shot, ball handling, and passing have all gotten better and she puts things together nicely
