All-Shooter Teams
Our All-Shooter team is a mixture of best shooters based on the eye test plus some of the best statistical three-point shooters the state saw this season. First Team G – [player_tooltip player_id="118031" first="Weronika" last="Hipp"], ELCA, Sr. G – [player_tooltip player_id="154582" first="Crystal" last="Henderson"], Kell, Fr. G – Caelan Ellis, McEachern, So. G – [player_tooltip player_id="118052" first="Lacy" last="Robins"], Statesboro, Sr. G – [player_tooltip player_id="118119" first="Nicole" last="Azar"], Hebron Christian, Jr. Second Team G – Alation Eason, Bryan County, Sr. G – [player_tooltip player_id="152624" first="Blair" last="Wallis"], Buford, Jr. G – Jordan Upchurch, Pace Academy, Jr. G – Ja’mya Johnson, Valdosta, Sr. F – Grace Hollifield, North Hall, Sr. Not many players create their own offense on the perimeter better than [player_tooltip player_id="118031" first="Weronika" last="Hipp"], who is never shy to pull from deep when given breathing space. Hipp, a Clemson-signee, is a high-volume shooter that can fill it up from beyond the arc. She went 86-254 (34%) from three and averaged 17.3 points per game. Freshman phenom [player_tooltip player_id="154582" first="Crystal" last="Henderson"] poured in 18.6 points per game and connected on 38 percent of her threes. She has deep range and must be accounted for at all times. Caelan Ellis stripped the nets, hitting 92-230 (40%) from distance while averaging 13.5 points for McEachern. Georgia Southern-signee [player_tooltip player_id="118052" first="Lacy" last="Robins"] might be Georgia’s most accurate shooter. She went 78-162 from three-point land, good for a 48 percent clip. She netted 15.5 points a night. [player_tooltip player_id="118119" first="Nicole" last="Azar"] had a breakout season at Hebron Christian, drilling over 100 threes on the year. She finished second in scoring in Gwinnett County at 19.9 points per game. Second Team Alation Eason – 13.2 ppg; 80-184 (43%) [player_tooltip player_id="152624" first="Blair" last="Wallis"] – All-Region 8-5A Jordan Upchurch – Co-Region 5-3A POY: Broke single-season three-point record Ja’mya Johnson – 15.3 ppg; 79-235 (34%) Grace Hollifield – All-Region 7-3A
