Congratulations to the Strafford Indians won winning a state-record fifth consecutive state championship last weekend in Springfield. The Indians rallied from a 13-point deficit in the second half to defeat Licking for the state title. Congratulations to Whitfield and Macon on finishing third in the state tournament. Compton had 18 points, six rebounds, 12 assists and two steals while making two 3-pointers in a victory over Whitfield in the semifinals.
